This is an apartment complex constructed by Susan (Loemker) Myers, AAA Rental LLC, located at 329 Ruthledge, Village of Worden, Illinois. The parcel in this photograph lacks the 50% green space required when requesting Village of Worden zoning permits for the development/construction of multiple-family properties.

The excessive use of gravel to cover the property and yard area would not be permitted in Wildewood Subdivision, Village of Worden. Why should other residents be subjected to anything less?

The Village of Worden needs to elect a new Mayor and Village of Trustees to develop an ordinance similar to other communities to regulate development with in 1 1/2 miles of Village of Worden boundaries.  The current parcel of land located adjacent to Wildewood Subdivision is located in Madison County Zoning area of approval. It is important to vote for a mayor and Village of Board candidates that are willing to be transparent about planned developments and to ensure the any residential or commercial development be conducted in open meetings and discussed with residents to ensure no decision on future development depreciate residents home values.

A culvert to allow roadway access has been added to the property to permit access to the adjoining parcel of land in the rear of the Wildewood subdivision. 

A manner to control the development of this property, which is located under Madison County Zoning, would require a new mayor and three new board of trustees and the creation of regulations to ensure any development would enhance homeowners' values and the development of a village ordinance similar to one being used by the City of Edwardsville and the Village of Glen Carbon to require all residential and commercial development within 1 1/2 miles of Village limits obtain the approval the Village of Worden Board before the development can be approved.   

The required zoning variances in the Village of Worden require political voting on requested new development or zoning variances on existing property. If there is a tie vote of three to three on these issues, the mayor of the village board is the tie-breaking vote.
